Job Title: Material Handler

Location : Midvale Park/ Valencia rd

Pay : $18.30hr

Shift : 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Fridays are optional when offered.

Job Description

The Material Handler role will be responsible for operations related to final packaging or boxing of products, performing weekly cycle counts, partnering with shippers/receivers to coordinate all material needs, and printing pick lists and pick work orders. This role will also involve following SOPs and communicating with each department to understand where materials are needed and the material flow of the operation while upkeeping the quality of all products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform final packaging or boxing of products

  • Conduct weekly cycle counts

  • Coordinate all material needs with shippers/receivers

  • Print pick lists and pick work orders

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Communicate with each department to understand material needs and flow

  • Maintain the quality of all products

Essential Skills

  • Material handling

  • Inventory check

  • Warehouse management

  • Receiving inbound/outbound freight

  • Shipping & receiving

  • Proficient with computers and relevant warehouse management software

  • Ability to bend and lift heavy materials up to 40 pounds

  • 2 to 3 years of material handling or material coordinating experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of warehouse experience preferred

  • Experience in Kitting/Material Handling

  • Forklift Certification is a plus (will certify individuals)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $18.30/hr.
