Canadian Tire Senior Analyst, Replenishment Support in Toronto, Ontario

What You’ll Do

Our Replenishment Support team plays a critical role in our evolution, specifically as we transition to an omni-retailer with multiple order fulfillment channels for customers. The merchandising and supply chain teams work closely together to deliver the right product at the right time, ultimately ensuring we are in stock for customers, whether for online or in-store purchases. Canadian Tire operates one of the largest and most respected supply chains in Canada, managing inbound from 2000+ global suppliers and delivering to 1700+ retail outlets across Canada.

As a Senior Analyst in Replenishment Support team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the replenishment system and ensuring the replenishment plan is accurate and effective to the replenishment team. You will work closely with the Replenishment Managers and Replenishment Analysts to monitor stock levels and provide valuable insights to optimize inventory flows to maintain a healthy inventory position for the corporation. You will also have the opportunity to help gain operational efficiency through streamlining or improving some of the existing processes with popular programming languages and automation toolkits.

Senior Analysts in Replenishment Support team can expect to gain foundational knowledge in and exposure to -

  • Lead automation and process improvements of existing replenishment reporting and future builds for replenishment insights

  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement necessary improvements or fixes in the events of data discrepancies that have a purchasing impact on the business

  • Liaising with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective processes

  • Data mining and decision support to improve inventory health while maximizing demand filling

  • Designing and managing in-stock reporting for cross functional teams on multiple levels of the organization

  • Identify opportunities to enhance replenishment processes within the JDA system, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs

  • Supply Chain functions such as Operations Planning, Order Management, Transportation, Distribution, Inventory Management

  • Consulting as a replenishment system subject matter expert for the replenishment team

All analysts hired into the program participate in a comprehensive two-week education and training program to gain exposure to key components of Canadian Tire’s Supply Chain and Merchandising practices as well as the foundational tasks required to succeed in the role.

What You’ve Done

  • Undergraduate or post graduate degree in Engineering, Math, Business or Commerce, with demonstrated interest in operations and supply chain

  • 2+ Years Work Experience, can include Co-op or Internship experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access and automation tools

  • Strong working knowledge of popular programing languages such as Python and R

  • Work experiences in replenishment roles highly valued, especially data driven, analytical, or process improvement experience
