The QA Manager is responsible for the QA function for our application ecosystem and for complex business and technology related initiatives for our various lines of business. This role will be responsible for day to day operations of QA team, and testing for several applications related to CRM, Sales & Branch Performance portfolio; will also provide thought leadership; navigate us through production issues and investigations; and be a key advocate of efficiency and continual improvement as we work to modernize.

In this role you will:

  • Analyse scope, requirements, staffing, project timelines

  • Manage and coach a team of testers - guide and mentor through issues and challenges and their employment journey

  • Stay abreast of modern technologies and practices, and recommends the introduction of new technology and processes

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert and hold overall accountability for QA on multiple complex initiatives, and operations and stability of the application ecosystem

  • Create and review QA Test Strategies/Test Approach/Test Cases and provide inputs and recommendations; be involved in hands on execution as needed

  • Closely monitor testing progress and providing constructive feedback to testers, give direction/suggestions for further improvements when projects status turns yellow/red, resolve project conflicts

  • Responsible for representing and successfully navigating through the internal bank processes.

  • Contribute, track and own QA budgets – opex and project

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Highly technical and curious, not afraid to jump in and get hands-on with testers

  • Have experience coaching and mentoring testers, helping them create training plans and motivating them to bring their best!

  • Excellent QA fundamentals; Experience with QA processes, tools, execution

  • Previous experience testing on mission critical systems in an agile environment with teams located in multiple geographies

  • 5+ years of experience leading test strategy, execution and delivery. Previously worked as a test lead

  • 1+ years of experience on Salesforce platform and with integrating from SaaS platforms to on-prem/public cloud platforms

  • Understanding of modern test frameworks

  • Familiarity with Automation tools
