IBM Business Development Manager, Consulting Services - Microsoft Dynamics 365 in TORONTO, Ontario

IBM as one of the global system integrators for Microsoft Business Applications, plays a crucial role in helping organizations implement, extend, and optimize Microsoft’s suite of business solutions. Dynamics 365 Business Development Manager role is responsible for driving sales of Microsoft Dynamics solutions, building relationships, and expanding the market presence of IBM Consulting Services. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, technical knowledge, and strategic thinking of identifying opportunities, nurture client relationships, and close deals.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and industries that can be benefit from Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions including ERP, CRM and Power Platform.

  • Develop campaigns, webinars, and events that generate leads and increase brand awareness

  • Driving new business growth by generating net new business opportunities and acquiring new clients in new logos or new Lines of Business.

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share goals

  • Prepare and present proposals, including pricing and contract negotiation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders

  • Stay updated on Microsoft’s latest product updates, roadmaps and IBM offerings

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy

  • Collaborate with technical teams to present and articulate the value proposition of Microsoft Business Applications and IBM offerings

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Growth mindset with speed and hunger to action and win

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working for Microsoft Partners

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Business Application offerings and industry trends.

  • Industry Specialization would be a plus
