Job Title: Assistant Construction ManagerJob Description
Manage and oversee small retail/commercial remodel projects, ensuring all activities and operations comply with safety standards and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include creating project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, documenting activities, and reporting through project management software. You will also handle submittals, change orders, RFIs, and other related documents, read blueprints and site layouts, propose bids, and determine project costs. Additionally, you will attend client meetings, coordinate onsite with clients, and ensure daily job-site clean-up and security.

Work Environment
The role primarily involves working on-site/in the field, supporting projects ranging from $10,000 to $1,000,000 for high-profile clients. Expect to work night shifts, weekends, and 40-55 hours per week, with occasional Saturdays. After about a year and based on performance, there may be opportunities to work on larger day-time projects. The office environment in Mokena, IL, offers a family-like atmosphere with a dynamic field crew.
