Fujifilm Commercial Sales Financial Business Analyst in Thousand Oaks, California
Position Overview
The job holderwill primarily support Project Managers and the Finance team with commercial and contract management, profitability analysis, business partnering to strategic commercial projects, pricing, and sales and operational planning.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
Engage with business partners to comprehend and enhance business processes, spotlight risks, and facilitate sound decision-making.
Review external client legal contracts and Pricing Proposals for financial impact and soundness; creates and maintains a working knowledge of ongoing contracts as it relates to revenue recognition and invoicing, including implementation of contractual inflationary clauses.
Act as a liaison between Legal, Program Design, Commercial Sales and Finance teams for sales and operational planning, including but not limited to, Request for Proposals, Proposal reviews and Pipeline meetings.
Maintain fluent knowledge of contracts for revenue recognition and invoicing, implementing contractual clauses as necessary.
Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts and any related documentation with contracts.
Ensure contracts adhere to relevant regulations, compliance policies and company policies
Update costing and pricing models annually, ensuring accurate financial forecasts and reports.
Create detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, tracking revenue recognition and financial program profitability.
Collaborate with project managers to understand project statuses
Analyze financial impacts of contracts, ensuring they align with the Company goals.
Train and provide finance support to global commercial sales and program management teams.
Lead customer credit reviews and drive policy improvements.
Resolve audit queries, provide requisite documentation, and manage special research projects.
Follows controls and supports internal and external audits, as needed.
Review and draft of Inter-company sales agreements.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business administration, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in a commercial finance environment.
Experience with IFRS and/or GAAP Revenue Recognition principles and an understanding of basic accounting rules and concepts (focus on ASC 606).
Proven experience in commercial/sales finance with strong business judgment and training/supporting a sales organization on best finance/contract practice.
Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, MBA)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in business administration or finance.
CPA or CMA certifications.
Experience in process management and contract administration is a plus
Experience in a CDMO or large pharma organization a plus
Skills & Abilities:
Strong sense of business acumen
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.
Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred.
Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
Independent and flexible under pressure, capable of influencing stakeholders
Strong analytical skills to communicate the implications of financial actions.
Advanced knowledge of revenue recognition and contract review.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and building relationships with key stakeholders
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.
Team-oriented with problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Capable of learning new skills and managing cross-functional relationships
The US salary range for this position is $90,000 to $112,000. Pay within this range varies by work location and may alsodepend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
