Hours: 40 hr week, day shifts available

Description

• Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process

• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals or drawings

• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts

• Rebuild manufacturing equipment, as required

• May perform equipment modifications, as directed by manufacturing engineers

• All employees are responsible for the quality of their work and ensuring that it meets or exceeds customer satisfaction.

• Communicate professionally with machine manufacturers, parts suppliers, and sub-contractors

• Manage parts ordered with suppliers

• Manage appropriately machine sub-contractors to ensure they meet safety requirements and the company’s protocols

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual TPM activities for all the equipment to ensure overall efficiency reducing downtime and maximizing uptime

• Maintain relationships with key third-party vendors and OEM manufacturers to identify critical spare parts for key equipment

• 3+ years of mechanical or electrical experience

• Proficient with hand-held mechanical and power tools and test equipment

• Demonstrate quality workmanship

• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to identify viable solutions under moderate supervision

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
