Job Title: FAA Assembly & Test Technician

Job Type: Full-time; 6-month minimum contract (May lead to extension or direct opportunity placement with Honeywell)

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour, $30.75 per hour for overtime (OT)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm or 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (OT may be mandatory at times)

Training: Orientation training will done 1st shift for 1 - 2 weeks, 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct standard testing procedures on a variety of equipment.

• Record and analyze test results.

• Utilize industry-specific tests and testing equipment, including calipers, drop mics, C-mics, bore gauges, inside/outside micrometers, etc.

• Use torque wrenches and demonstrate mechanical proficiency with hand tools.

• Work under direct supervision.

• Perform a variety of tasks.

• Demonstrate a certain degree of creativity and latitude.

• Typically reports to a supervisor.

Duties:

• Work on aviation fuel valves & pumps.

• Participate in sub-assembly units, testing, and repair.

• Follow blueprints for precise assembly and testing.

• Record and analyze test results.

• Exercise creativity in problem-solving.

• 1-2 years of assembly experience required.

• Training is provided (training is 1st shift for 2 weeks, morning - afternoon)

Qualifications:

• Subject to background and drug tests.

Pay Details: $20.50 per hour
