As a Product Manager at Cognizant, you would be responsible for developing and communicating new service offerings for assigned products or services. You would be working with the sales and marketing organizations, as well as the technical delivery organization, to ensure service offer viability; interacting with customers and providing direct support to the sales organization to sell TriZetto products or services; eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the real needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. The product manager also has to collaborate with other business units to manage product roadmaps, requirements, release schedule, training and support and champion new offers in market.

Essential Functions:
* Define and develop next-generation healthcare data products encompassing self-service capabilities, reporting, tools and modeling
* Managing the entire product lifecycle or services from strategic planning to tactical activities.
* Develop new solutions to improve the value proposition of ClaimSphere in the areas of NCQA HEDIS measures, value-based reporting, medical chart abstraction, data warehouse and reporting
* Conduct workshops with clients and product consulting to uncover the needs and pain points with the existing process and solutions
* Demonstrate the product and roadmap for clients and prospects.
* Participate in sales activities, client user groups, workgroups and implementation and support activities as needed
* Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines
* Create support and training documents for internal and external users
* Define product roadmap based on industry needs and market forces
* Manage client relationship, lead monthly and quarterly meetings with customers, and represent voice of the customer in the roadmap
* Break down the new solutions into product features, and develop user stories using product management tool of choice
* Collaborate and negotiate with product consulting, product owners, technical owners, quality owners and portfolio teams to advance the product capabilities
* Coordinate with the development department to deliver on functionality in accordance with roadmap, providing value to solutions
Qualifications:
Education:
* BS in Computer Science or related major, or Bachelors in Health Information Management
* Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
Desired Experience:
* Minimum of ten years' related experience in the software/healthcare industry.
* Experience in National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) is a plus
* Experience with EHR systems and clinical data is a plus
Behavioral Competencies:
* Strong negotiation skills
* Experience in leading a cross-discipline team
Technical Competencies:
* Experience with SQL databases
* Experience in using low-code no-code reporting tools like PowerBI or tableau, and
* Advanced knowledge of Excel
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will depend on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
