Mosaic is a Fortune 500 organization and the largest potash and phosphate fertilizer distributor in North America. Last year they completed a massive digital acceleration project, with the main component being their transition from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA. They are now in the stabilization phase and need an experience SAP Project Manager to join the team for a training project. Mosaic is deploying 10 SAP trainers to 15+ plant sites between FL, Louisiana, Canada and Brazil. In this role, you will be held responsible to assist the in the progression of the training workload for the Plant Site workers regarding SAP Plant Maintenance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Enterprise Warehouse Management and Finance. In this role, you will be providing all documentation and upgrades to leadership ensuring the project timeline and workload is being completed efficiently and effectively over the next 5-7 months. In this role you will be working with global teams, experience working in that capacity will be needed.

70% Lead Assigned IT Projects:

• Manage IT projects from initiation through delivery ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. Work with internal/external clients to gather business requirements and coordinate project plans. Identify project scope, develop implementation plan, engage key stakeholders, define and coordinate activities, communicate changes and progress, build commitment, overcome resistance and lead project teams.

• Maintain documentation of project data, plan, progress, issues, resolution, risks, task completion, lessons learned, and variances. Escalate changes to project scope or plan to the appropriate manager. Evaluate project risks, develop contingency plans, and respond quickly to changes in risk as the project progresses. Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, set clear expectations, inspire and motivate others to perform well. Meet challenges with resourcefulness.

• Align the deliverables to the program’s outcome with the aid of the business change manager(s) and ensure proper communication to core project teams as well as program level stakeholders.

• Work with members of the program’s core team to review and consider innovative ways to resolve problems.

20% Provide support and maintain the IT Project Management Portal and Project Management Methodology:

• Generate suggestions for improving project management practices and methodologies.

• Engage the department staff to transfer knowledge and educate personnel on effective project and process improvement methodologies.

10% Assist in providing project management auditing services to projects and mentor project managers and leaders in the concepts of the project management standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
