This function includes employees working on incident management response and restoration; determination of issue priority, provisioning, and service request fulfillment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Technology Support Core Tasks

• Understands basic computer and networking fundamentals - Windows, TCP/IP, WiFi and home routers.

• Respond to and resolve reported computer software, hardware, operating system & connectivity issues

• Fulfill service requests

• Identifies correct knowledge documents and support materials to answer questions and troubleshoot issues

• Learns about technology deployments and how they fit within business model/strategy

• Explains general navigation to customers; Translates technical terms to non-technical users to help in explaining navigation

• Documents troubleshooting steps and service restoration details in tickets

• Manages process to restore normal service operation to minimize impact to business operations

• Identifies when request/issue should be escalated and assigns to appropriate party

• Shows an interest in learning more advanced aspects of the functional skills

• Identifies relevant security standards that apply to own work and adheres to protocols

• Understands security risks & implications when implementing solutions

• Understands the content and process of current security controls
