Purpose of the Role:

• This role supports the Manila SSC entity as the Assistant Controller and the main POC supporting the core function of FC such as monthly reporting, statutory and regulatory compliance, AOP and forecasting of the Manila center working with various global functional towers.

• The role is also responsible to manage the liquidity of the center coordinating with internal and external (banks) stakeholders.

• This role is also the sole support of RFC in delivering critical APAC regional requirements.

Accountabilities

• Perform month end close responsibilities including journal entry preparation (e.g. accounting guidance and ensuring proper backup information and data in alignment with PCAOB requirements)

• Ensure that financial & statutory processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal (CARM) and external requirements,

• Support the FAC process, provide analysis for the FAC completion

• Provide the Financial Control team with technical accounting guidance and act as the technical expert for of the Financial Controlling team

• Understand, interpret, and implement Group Accounting and Reporting requirements; communicate requirements to the rest of the Financial Control team and to relevant teams in the market

Requirements

• Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business Qualified accountant

• 6-7 years’ experience in accounting area

• Experience working within an international / multicultural environment

• Exemplary Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)

• Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)

• Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering alternative solutions for issues
