Pay: $26.00 - $30.00

Job Description

We are actively seeking industrial maintenance candidates responsible for performing breakdown and preventative maintenance on production and supporting equipment within a large dairy production facility.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks issued by the maintenance shift supervisor.

• Troubleshoot support system problems using basic problem-solving skills.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment assigned to you.

• Complete all standard work orders and preventative maintenance tasks assigned and submit all completed paperwork.

• Record information in required logbooks for systems history and continuous improvement.

• Record any parts/components used for repairs to ensure replenishment of On-Hand balances are maintained, and properly dispose of used parts/components.

• Ensure quality standards set by the company are adhered to after PM’s and/or repairs are made to equipment.

• Perform machine repairs based upon a maintenance call or an assignment in a timely fashion.

• Maintain cleanliness of the areas you are working in; properly dispose of the parts/components you have replaced.

• Promote a safe and harmonious work environment with adherence to company policy, procedures, safety, and health regulations.

• Maintain compliance with S.Q.F. Certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of a GED or High School Diploma

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

• Technical training or electrical/mechanical technician degree, or verifiable comparable experience

• Food manufacturing background is a plus

• Must be able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (electric/manual)

• Experience with programmable logic controllers, instruments, and controls is preferred

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within the mechanical field; working with boilers, ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, air handling units, and HVAC is a plus
