Job Title: Veterinary Ophthalmologist

Location: Eastcott Referrals, Swindon, Wiltshire

Hours: 20-30 hours over 2-3 days per week

Type: Permanent

Eastcott Referrals are recruiting for a passionate Ophthalmologist to join our established team, and we are keen to hear both from board certified and residency-trained candidates.

In this role you will work alongside three other Ophthalmologists, including one diplomate, and a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide exceptional ophthalmic care. Your responsibilities will include

• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions

• Performing advanced ophthalmic surgeries

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care

We are looking for a skilled Veterinary Ophthalmologist who:

• Can work both independently and as part of a team

• Is eager to develop their skills and contribute to the growth and development of our service

• Thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with colleagues across the wider multidisciplinary team

• Is keen to shape and develop the service, bringing new ideas and innovation

• Displays excellent communication skills, with a professional and caring approach

• Is committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care

Membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (or membership eligibility) and successful completion of a recognised Veterinary Ophthalmology residency programme are essential.
