Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management
Keep smooth communication with supplier about quality issues on a day-to-day basis
Audit supplier quality system and process in compliance with company requirement
Participate in supplier performance assessment and deal with returning and claiming for compensation from supplier for reject parts
Provide training to supplier regarding quality standards, technology, Copeland quality requirements
Engineering changing request following and result confirming
- Supply quality failure analysis and follow up action
Analyze quality issues from production, incoming inspection, or customer complain, lead internal/external quality discussions due to suppliers’ quality incidents
Propose improving and corrective actions regarding supplier quality failure
Conduct on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective action of supplier quality issues.
- Technology research and data analysis
Update and file the quality responsibilities base on the drawings and engineering specification in a timely manner
Keep the data sheet record and filed. Input those critical dimensions to database for statistics and analysis.
- Daily non-confirming analysis
Confirm the defect parts from RMA or production line return.
Handling incoming non-conformity goods and follow up corrective actions taken by supplier
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science and Engineering or Mechanical Engineering related field
• At least 5 years’ supplier quality management experience in HVAC, Heat Pump or Cooling industry preferred.
• Have a good understanding/knowledge about measurement techniques, quality system, engineering drawings and manufacturing processes, familiar with quality tools, such asFMEA,8D,5Why etc.
• Fluent in English both for oral and written.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated & energetic with a strong work ethic
