Purpose of Job: The Warehouse Supervisor provides guidance and direction for inventory movement within the warehouse, including supervising warehouse team members and loading/unloading trucks. Job Components: * Supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff. * Ensures continuous process improvement * Coordinates physical inventory process and cycle counts * Processes inbound receiving of containers or full truck, truck pallet shipments, and small parcel shipments. * Operates forklifts and trains the Warehouse Workers on safety of goods and efficient use of equipment. Qualifications: * High school graduate (or equivalent) * Minimum one year experience in a lead role required * Minimum of one year warehouse experience required * Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills * Strong organization and time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Working knowledge of warehouse and last mile logistics. * Understanding of state, federal and interstate commerce regulations including HAZMAT shipping laws and requirements. * Able to lift and/or move 75 lbs. * Previous forklift experience is required * Must have and maintain a DOT medical certificate, valid State driver\'s license and acceptable driving record. Class B CDL preferred. Scope Data: * Works under limited supervision * May use independent judgment when making decisions. * Accountable for general duties within warehouse operations. * Supervises one or more Team Members Work Environment: * Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, electricity, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. * Exposure to varying temperatures. * Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * Regularly required to stand, walk, hear, talk, and use hands to grasp and handle * Ability to lift and/or move 75 lbs. * Use of PPE required (steel toe boots, safety glasses, protective gloves, etc.) Note: We do not accept resumes from headhunters, placement agencies, or other suppliers that have not signed a formal agreement with us.
