Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer in the healthcare industry, located in Sunrise, Florida. This role is pivotal in making data-driven decisions by designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your strong analytical skills and business knowledge to provide insights that support the business's strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BI solutions, including Data Warehouses and OLAP databases, to provide actionable insights for decision-making processes.

• Utilize strong understanding of the Kimball Methodology to design effective Data Warehouse/Solution Designs.

• Employ business intelligence best practices to deliver high-quality data and analysis to stakeholders.

• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional time management and planning skills.

• Establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop strategies, and track and measure results to drive business performance.

• Develop a strong rapport with key customers in the business, approaching every challenge with a customer-centric view.

• Adhere to coding standards and participate in peer code reviews to ensure the highest level of data integrity and accuracy.

• Ensure systems comply with HIPPA regulations to maintain the confidentiality and security of healthcare information.

• Leverage knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices to effectively execute projects.

• Utilize excellent presentation skills to communicate complex data and analysis in a clear and concise manner both orally and in writing.

• Utilize knowledge of Azure Data & Analytics PaaS Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL DB.

• Use Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools to maintain and improve the quality of data. Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and related technologies

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BI DW)

• Familiarity with SSIS SSRS and SSRS SSIS

• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake

• Ability to implement and manage BI solutions

• Capability to analyze business processes and requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare or NHS industry preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
