The Apple Cloud Networking team builds software-defined network infrastructure as a part of Apple Cloud. Our infrastructure is a critical foundation in delivering Apple’s services (such as iCloud, iTunes, Siri, Maps) to billions of customers. The cloud network team is looking for a dynamic Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to help build and run network services that are the foundation to Apple Cloud. EPMs take a meaningful role in working with engineers and multi-functional teams to build and deliver a high performance and reliable infrastructure. We’re looking for hardworking and hard-working people to join our amazing team where we focus on extraordinary service availability, scalability and security while defining and implementing standard and systematic methodologies. We are looking for candidates for this role who is ambitious with entrepreneurial spirit and inspired by the opportunity to drive and deliver sophisticated projects from inception to production.
Description
You will be supplying to delivery management of the end-to-end production lifecycle starting from building the product roadmap to product feature development, release management, production roll-out and support. You will be partnering with diverse cross-functional teams to align on priorities, results and decisions. You are required to drive clarity and resolution among sophisticated interdependencies and ambiguities while accounting for the technical details and the business requirements. The role requires utmost ownership and a hands-on leader who has a steadfast passion and enthusiasm for driving the successful delivery of a highly scalable infrastructure!
Minimum Qualifications
Confirmed expertise in software development project management
Demonstrated ability in leading and developing team
Experience at end to end project delivery; building roadmaps through to operational sustainability
Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings)
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
10 + years proven experience in software development project management for Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps / Infrastructure domains
Exceptional organizational management, project management, and technical savvy
Experience leading Cloud Infrastructure programs.
Experience in networking domain is a big plus
Experience at prioritizing features, and technical road maps
Proficiency and experience in delivering large scale infrastructure projects
Self-motivated and proactive with shown creative and critical thinking capabilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills to represent at all levels of the organization
Ability to handle multiple simultaneous end to end infrastructure, technical projects and partner community comprising of various engineering teams and their partners

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
