Apple’s Supply chain integration (SCI) team has built and implemented systems for running end to end supply chain processes, automating the decisions of when, where, what & how in the supply chain. We work on many high-impact projects that serve various Apple lines of business. Have the chance to network with vendors, and in-house personnel, super users, as well as form a dream team of authorities for each project to improve resources and efficiency! We are seeking a highly skilled professional O9 Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and optimizing O9-based supply chain solutions that align with our business goals and drive operational efficiency. This role requires deep expertise in the processes, technical savvy with the platform, and strong leadership abilities to guide multi-functional teams in delivering scalable solutions.

Description

Collaborate with partners to understand business requirements and translate them into robust planning solutions. Design end-to-end architecture for SC planning, including demand planning, supply planning, Clear to Build, Materials Planning. Ensure the architecture aligns with standard methodologies and meets performance, scalability, and security requirements. Own the implementation of o9 solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with existing systems (e.g., EDW, SAP, and other supply chain applications). Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Analyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement using the platform. Develop and implement improvements to optimize system performance and increase user adoption. Stay up-to-date with the latest o9 platform updates and supply chain industry trends to ensure the solution remains cutting-edge. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including BPR/Solutions Team, business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery. Mentor and guide junior team members in o9 solution design and implementation. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation for solution architecture, configuration settings, and user guides. Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical teams to ensure proper usage and understanding of the o9 platform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain planning and management.

  • Work experience with o9 Solutions or similar, including hands-on implementation and configuration.

  • Track record of delivering successful supply chain planning projects using O9 or similar platforms.

  • Understanding of supply chain planning processes and best practices.

  • Proficiency in the O9 platform, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning and management.

  • 5+ years of experience with o9 Solutions or similar, including hands-on implementation and configuration.

  • 5+ years of experience of supply chain planning processes and best practices.

  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and database management.

  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and ERP systems integration

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Leadership and team management skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
