We are seeking a skilled and qualified Refrigeration Technician to join a fast paced dairy equipment company. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance in both commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Position Objective: Occasionally install new refrigeration equipment. Be able to prioritize and address service calls as they come in while also maintaining equipment on a regular basis. Responsibilities:

• Repair, install and maintain milk cooling systems.
• Perform routine maintenance as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Complete work orders, invoicing and other paperwork as required
• Maintain inventory of parts

Qualifications:

• EPA Certification (Universal) Required
• At least 5 years of experience in a commercial refrigeration setting preferred
• Successful completion of a trade school or other refrigeration training program
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required
• Familiarity with trade tools and equipment to complete required tasks correctly
• Positive attitude and desire to meet objectives in a timely fashion required
• Ability to work individually and as a team required
• Ability to handle physical workload as required
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs. required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time required
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in the elements year-round required
• Current driver's license required
• Ability to pass a background check required
• Desire to work directly with customers and passion to provide top notch customer service required
• Computer literacy required
• Ability to Solder and Braze as needed required
• Attention to detail is a must
• Ability and desire to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues and management daily
• Willingness to work over 40 hours per week as needed including some weekends on call
