Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be required to ensure operational performance in the facility is sustained through regular preventative maintenance and repair or warehouse equipment, racks, and facility. A successful individual will be able to manage their daily work and support urgent changes to sustain safety to associates and operations to our customer needs.
Shift 12:30pm - 9:00pm
Base pay is 34.18/ hour plus shift differential
Will support site TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) initiatives
Will conduct regular site audits of equipment and facilities to identify area in need of repair
Maintain, repair, and install/build
Power industrial equipment
Warehouse dock door levelers
Warehouse equipment
Racking
Office equipment
Plumbing
Electrical (110V & 480V)
HVAC
Hydraulics
Other items as defined
Carpentry
Capable of reading a blueprint or drawing to support troubleshooting on any of the above
Must be capable to safely operate and train on powered industrial vehicles. Such as fork lifts, scissors lifts, and reach trucks
Strong in developing and maintaining solid preventative maintenance schedule
Qualifications
High school degree or GED and/or specialized training maintenance of warehouse equipment and spaces
5 years job-specific experience
Must possess knowledge of machines, equipment, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate rapidly and effectively within the organization and to represent the company in a professional manner to visitors.
Must be willing and able to independently pursue assignments with maximum problem-solving resolve and minimal supervision, but must also readily ask for direction and help when needed.
Electrical wiring experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
Employee must be organized, detail-oriented, able to follow multi-step processes and easily take direction.
Some computer skills including spreadsheets, databases and word processing
Strong mathematical and logical skills
