Overview
This position involves working in the stockroom alongside one other person to handle various tasks including shipping and receiving, picking and packing, inventory management, handling outbound shipments, some of which could be international, and loading and unloading trucks. You will occasionally operate a forklift, but this is not a primary forklift position. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have prior experience with shipping and receiving tasks, UPS Worldship, and inventory management experience. Responsibilities
Handle shipping and receiving duties.
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage and maintain inventory records.
Prepare and handle outbound shipments, including international shipments.
Load and unload trucks.
Essential Skills
Experience with international shipping processes
Experience in inventory management.
Proficiency in picking and packaging orders.
Knowledge of order picking and shipping procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
UPS Worldship
Familiarity with using a pallet jack and forklift is advantageous.
US citizenship or permanent residency is required due to ITAR compliance.
Work Environment
The facility is very well-lit, temperature-controlled, and home to 80 full-time employees. The company manufactures electronic navigation equipment for military planes and helicopters, and all assembly of electronic components and preparation for shipment is done in-house.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
