R&D Engineer (Cable Technology)

Role Purpose

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and test new advanced processing technologies, including equipment and tool design

• Manage cable development projects

• Analyze process data and statistics to improve processing capabilities

• Harmonize and optimize cable manufacturing processes to ensure easy and quick transfers between locations and production lines

• Communicate and document results in technical reports and presentations

• Monitor new trends in cable production technologies

• Collaborate closely with other development departments within the global organization

• Drive high innovation intensity (filed patents, published papers, presentations, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field

• 3 years of experience in a development/engineering department

• Proficiency in English and Polish

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering

• Knowledge of statistics

• Familiarity with fiber optic cable constructions and materials (preferred but not required)

• Excellent communication and global teamwork skills

• Experience in project management

• Willingness to work at different locations (up to 25% travel)

• Experience in plastic processing (nice to have)
