JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Job Purpose Coordinate and assure all plant equipment is kept in good operating condition in order to meet the product demand of customers. Plan to minimize unplanned downtime (97%) and maximize equipment availability (100%). Responsible for managing the service and maintenance of equipment (non-manufacturing), machinery (non-manufacturing), building and other facilities. Responsible for maintaining equipment for the operation to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Maintain all facility in a safe and productive state to ensure the health and safety of all operations employees and in order to achieve maximum productivity. * Responsible for setting up a preventative maintenance program for machines and facility equipment, including HVAC, compressors, filters and office equipment. * Contribute to the creation of an annual maintenance budget for all facilities. * Plan the maintenance schedule to maximize production capability and equipment availability. * Maintain records showing compliance with all federal, state and local safety, environmental and tax requirements. * Order parts and equipment required to minimize downtime and maximize productivity, while maintain the planned maintenance budget. * Oversee grounds keeping. * Maintain maintenance costs at no greater than 2% above the planned maintenance budget. * Negotiate and plan contracts, when necessary, to maintain or rebuild equipment or facilities to meet production requirements. * Determine and plan capital requirements to maintain or increase plant production capability or improve safety and health, as required, to meet present and future demand and as approved within financial objectives. * Synchronizing work processes with other departments. * Coordinate projects (construction and maintenance). * Research new...
