What you’ll do:
As Software Configuration Engineer you will be part of an EMEA based team and deliver high level technical support on various client sites across Sweden and EMEA. Your will be mainly working on Energy Power Management System (EPMS), Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and SCADA related Eaton software solutions for customer projects. You will bring domain expertise to contribute to following areas of activity of Software based projects:
Coordinate SW site deployment and testing (with onsite works if needed) of Eaton solutions in different electrical infrastructures (like data centers, C&I, etc).
Design technical scope of budgetary and binding proposals
Resolve the Level 3 escalated technical support requests related to area of expertise.
Define SW deployment work method with criteria for local team and 3rd party
Support sales & project management teams with technical scope definition and highlight risks with solutions
Produce and validate engineering documentation in cooperation with various Eaton technical teams
Perform internal and external technical presentations and training, also participate in process and tool standardization initiatives.
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Power management/Electrical engineering/Computer science/Automation subjects.
Experience with Power system automation software, Energy power management system, Data Center Infrastructure management.
Relevant engineering experience with power management systems specifically within Data Center environment
Familiar with power distribution system including MV/LV switchgear, Transformer, UPS and EPMS/DCIM system is a plus
Software and hardware knowledge of PLC, HMI, Network Infrastruction, IED programming and logic control concept is a plus.
Strong collaboration and solid communication skills in English, other European languages are plus
Self driven and solution oriented behaviour when solving high complexity technical problems
A strong safety mindset and the fortitude to STOP unsafe practices even when that could impact other important deliverables
Intercultural awareness, ability to prioritize and efficiently deal with multiple tight deadlines
Flexibility with traveling within Sweden and EMEA
Driving license
