Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Credit Clerk in St. Stephen, South Carolina. This role is centered in the telecom industry where you will be handling the processing of customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records. The position will also require you to monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Assisting with Accounts Payable (AP) and invoicing for sales representatives

• Assisting bookkeepers with other accounting tasks

• Working with QuickBooks and Excel for various tasks

• Handling administrative duties and paperwork as needed

• Performing data entry tasks as necessary

• Processing invoices effectively

• Account reconciliation tasks as per requirement

• Assisting in Accounts Receivable (AR) and billing processes. Requirements • Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Demonstrated ability in Billing is a must

• Must have competency in Data Entry

• Proficiency in Invoice Processing is required

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks is necessary

• A degree or equivalent experience in accounting or a related field is essential

• Must have strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures and principles.
