Job Title: Food Services Worker

Job Description

We have multiple openings for both full-time and part-time Food Service Workers. Full-time positions require a 6 am to 6:30 pm shift, working three days on and three days off, including some weekends. Part-time positions are for 24 hours a week. This role primarily involves providing meal service to patients within a hospital setting, ensuring that dietary needs are met with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal service to hospital patients, including menu selections, tray assembly, and delivery.

• Handle special dietary requests and maintain galley and floor stock.

• Document meals and calorie intake for patients.

• Round on patients to ensure dietary needs are met in accordance with department standards.

• Communicate patient diets, meal deliveries, and special requests with the patient care team.

• Perform various food service functions such as setting up service areas, portioning food, serving, and sanitation.

• Assist with customer requests and ensure a professional and friendly customer service experience.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food service, cleaning, hospitality, and food preparation.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to assemble meal trays and menus according to guidelines.

• Proficiency in using food service equipment and materials safely.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to follow food safety and portion guidelines.

• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
