A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HARTWIG SALES ENGINEER:

Successfully sells CNC machine tools and engineering services by reaching or exceeding individual goals.

Develops and maintains a strong working knowledge of the machine tool industry and all products and services sold.

Maintains a thorough knowledge of competitor\'s products.

Investigates customer\'s needs and presents solutions.

Manages critical projects through installation and ensures \"Best in Class\" service through initial run-offs.

Ensures continued communications and up-to-date feedback to and from internal team to customers.

Maintains a strong teamwork relationship with all internal customers, Sales, Service, Application Engineering, and Parts.

TO JOIN THE HARTWIG TEAM, YOU SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor\'s Degree is preferred.

Minimum of two year\'s outside/external sales experience, preferably industrial sales.

Must have a strong mechanical/technical aptitude.

Excellent interpersonal communication and customer relationship skills.

Experience in project management and time management.

Computer skills; MS Office and sales software such as CRM.

Must have a strong initiative, competitive nature, and be goal-oriented.

Have excellent attention to detail.

Occasional overnight travel required.
