Kutak Rock Communications Coordinator, Marketing in Spokane, Washington
JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP seeks a Communications Coordinator to join the firm's national Business Development and Marketing Communications department. This role will support members of the Marketing Communications team by assisting in the planning and implementation of firm marketing and communications initiatives.
This full-time, hybrid position is available to candidates in close proximity in one of the following firm offices: Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; Little Rock, AR; Kansas City, MO; Minneapolis, MN; Omaha, NE; Scottsdale, AZ; and Spokane, WA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the marketing communications team with day-to-day and specialized digital communication projects
- Coordinate the production and distribution of various legal updates, including formatting documents for print, web and email; posting to the firm website; using Vuture, the firm's email marketing software; and creating post-campaign metrics and reports
- Work with marketing communications team members to design and develop targeted and effective mailers (Alerts, Legal Updates, Press Releases, Firm News, etc.), event landing pages, registration pages and supporting materials in Vuture and InDesign
- Support the firm's digital, local office and in-person events
- Assist with and deploy digital events (Zoom meetings and webinars)
- Assist with contact list preparation and maintenance, attendance reporting and survey responses
- Provide support for content maintenance on the firm's website Assist with writing and editing content
- Monitoring media coverage and researching emerging trends/topics
- Assist with the setup of surveys and exporting reports in Survey Monkey and Microsoft Forms
- Facilitate firm sponsorships including overseeing the creation and submission of ads, logos and firm participation
- Assist with the firm's promotional product (swag) and photography programs
- Generate and update marketing materials as requested by department members, such as brochures and PowerPoint presentations
- Assist with the preparation and tracking of regional awards, directory and rankings submissions, such as Chambers USA, Best Law Firms

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a working knowledge of AP style
- High degree of attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to anticipate needs and exercise critical thinking
- Ability to work independently as well as manage projects and assignments in a collaborative team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals
- Strong computer skills and, specifically, experience and proficiency with various Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
- High School degree or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in marketing or business development required experience in a law firm or other professional services organization preferred
Special consideration given for candidates with corporate event and/or communication experience

*Salary Range: *$55,000-$69,000 per year, c
