Daycare Director-In-Training | Spartanburg
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Preschool Director-In-Training to learn from and support our centers in Spartanburg. This position will equip you to potentially step into a Center Director role in the future.
Hourly range: $17-$20/hour
Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with ECD 101 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range

Requirements
At least 6 months of teaching experience in licensed childcare.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, Elementary Education or other related field.
Previous management experience preferred.
Proficient computer skills in a variety of business-related programs, including Microsoft Office.
A passion for providing high-quality care and education to children.
Responsibilities:
Working in conjunction with a training director, help oversee the daily operations of childcare school in accordance with state licensing and company policies, including administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility.
Partner with families to provide the best care and early education for their children.
Assist with the implementation of our curriculum, including developmentally-appropriate play and classroom environments.
Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and others.
