Principal Product Technology Consultant

Duties:
Own, manage, and pursue the Agency Conversion and New Business pipeline. Develop strong relationships with key clients and vendors. Participate in strategic negotiations to understand and address customer technology needs and requirements. Design tailored technical solutions aligned with requirements, market (North America, Central America, and South America regions) and Sabre's value proposition. Create and maintain technical sales and operational best practices, methods, standards, and playbook. Train, onboard, and develop junior Sales Engineers and strategic consultants. Lead the Data Processing Cost Optimization efforts for the Americas, managing a sales pipeline, creating best practices in transaction analytics, and optimizing customer application workflows. Master multiple system integration technologies and development languages, including SOAP, REST, Hadoop, Tableau, and proprietary tools. Oversee project timelines, ensuring deliverables align with client requirements and organizational standards. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Serve as an advisor to the sales force and customers on complex technical issues. Propose product and service changes to reduce costs and increase sales. Prepare operating manuals, references, and training materials for customers and the sales force. Be the customer advocate within Sabre, aligning products and solutions with customer business goals. Support and coach sales and account management personnel on pre-sales activities and requirements for supporting new sales, renewals, and conversions. Engage with potential and existing clients across the Americas to understand their technical needs, challenges, and goals. Collaborate with the sales team to craft technical proposals outlining the solution approach, benefits, and costs. Work closely with sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution. Apply Sales methodologies for managing the sales pipeline. Coach extended team about Conversions and renewals support framework. Stay updated and share knowledge on market trends (NAM-LAC), competitors, and customer needs. May telecommute from any location in the U.S. Position supervises 7 peers with titles such as Sales Engineers, Product and Technology Consultants, Project Managers, Account Directors, Sales Executives, and System Integration Consultants. 50% domestic and international travel required to consult with customers. May telecommute from any location in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 3 years related experience. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Leading Sales Engineering strategies for new sales, conversions, and principal accounts for the Americas markets (North America, Central America, and South America regions); 2) Working with quota-based sales goals and a diverse portfolio of service offerings such as consulting, product demonstrations, and workshops; 3) Qualifying leads based on revenue, commitment, region, close date, and segment's type to provide the best approach; 4) Working with multiple system integration technologies and development languages including SOAP, REST, Hadoop, and Tableau as well as GDS (Global Distribution System) technology; and 5) Creating best practices in transaction analytics including big data querying and data visualization, methods, and standards as well as customer application workflow redesign and optimization.
