Location: New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, or Southfield, MI What you'll do We are looking for a motivated Business Intelligence expert to join the global Business Intelligence (BIC) team to support our Global Private Equity practice. The BIC Team provides insight and analysis through research, market and competitor intelligence, pitch support, prospect identification and account management for our industries, communities, and geographies. Our mission is to partner with our consultants in delivering insights and analysis to support in winning new business and delivering memorable results. The Business Intelligence Center Private Equity role requires working closely with our senior practice leaders of the Global Private Equity Practice and BIC Leadership Team. The Private Equity Sector Lead will be responsible for helping to improve Partner Managing Directors' commercial effectiveness and improve commercial processes and facilitate data-driven decision making. We are seeking candidates who have built insight and experience in the Private Equity sector. Candidates will want to work in a global, fast-moving, dynamic team collaborating with experts in the sector. The Business Intelligence Manager role reports to a Business Intelligence Director, based in New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, or Southfield, MI. Paid relocation assistance is not available for this position. Drive and support business development priorities through conducting research and analysis, including working with practice leadership and marketing teams to prepare new thought pieces and studies. Research market trends within the PE/M&A landscape, investor universe and capital markets to inform pursuits and shape AlixPartners' message to the market and prepare insightful research on topics and trends impacting the sector. Ensure effective communication and coordination delivering high quality research to the PE and M&A Teams. Play an integral role in supporting Account Management Teams across the Firm's Priority Investor clients which includes many of the world's top performing and largest PE Firms and Hedge Funds. Provide strategic support to Business Development pursuits, including monitoring lead data and assisting in pipeline reporting and management. Identify potential prospect/target companies using a broad range of research tools. Improve and evolve existing screening and analysis approaches. Assist in building new digital tools to help with reporting, tracking and efficiency. Evaluate key competitors to better differentiate AlixPartners' value proposition in competitive scenarios. Conduct financial, situation and performance analyses and research, which includes managing resources and identifying best sources for PE and M&A data. Additional responsibilities as identified.
