In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Trade Communications Executive to bring fresh insights and expertise to our P&O Cruises Guest Conversion Team.

Role Overview

The purpose of this role is to assist the maintenance of our P&O Cruises Travel Agent Engagement strategy by delivering HTML emails, organic and paid social media activity, trade press adverts and website updates. You will work in partnership with the P&O Cruises Sales & Marketing team to deliver all relevant communications to travel agents which assist the brand marketing and sales strategy - ensuring all our content delivers consistent messages across our different communication channels.

This pivotal role will involve:

  • In conjunction with Trade Channels Manager, deliver and maintain a communication strategy which aligns to the department vision and company aims.

  • Manage and deliver market-leading communications to the travel trade. Working in partnership with the brand marketing teams to deliver communications compatible to the brand marketing communications strategy

  • Manage, develop and report on our database utilising all of our communication channels.

  • Analyse the effectiveness of our communication activity and report on the success on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Review and update the business processes for the management of communications to manage our costs effectively.

This role is positioned at CUK10 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time 12months fixed-term contract basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous marketing or communications experience including CMS.

  • Knowledge of email marketing

  • Experience using a design tool such as Canva or InDesign

  • Knowledge of Social media advertising
