Area Supervisor

This position is responsible for managing/directing the daily activities of Field Technicians relating to providing service to TVMs, TOMS and Validators in the Northern part of New Jersey and Manhattan. The incumbent is a qualified, individual producer who applies a strong knowledge of maintenance/diagnostic concepts, practices and procedures, generally works under deadlines is capable of handling heavy workloads and operating with only general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support to technicians for error/problem resolution.

• Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.

• Participate in remote/onsite support nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Frequent interactions with functional peer groups and client.

• Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors and exercises judgement within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.

• Provides feedback/performance reveiws on a periodic basis.

• Performs administrative duties including workforce scheduling and time reporting.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Formal training in electronics or equivalent experience.

• 3-5 years of related technical support experience.

• Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook.

• Previous people leadership experience.

• Customer interface skills.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

• Mechanical skills.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $61,985 - $80,500.
