We are looking for aLogistics Coordinatorinterested in starting a SWEET career as part of our Warehouse team at PIM’s Pierce Site in Somerset, NJ.

JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for executing daily shipping and receiving functions and coordinating transfers. Ensures material movements, transfers, and distribution is performed in an efficient and accurate manner. Entry of inbound and outbound materials into the M3 system. Answer phone calls to warehouse department and coordinate inbound shipments. Completes miscellaneous support functions and supports area personnel as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates and Schedules Inbound Packaging, Raw Material, WIP and bulk deliveries to and from 3 warehouse facilities

• Report food safety and quality issues to Plant management and SQFP

• Follow PIM Brands GMP, personal and safety rules

• Monitor fellow employees for adherence to GMPs, safety and

• Inventory evaluations, cycle counting and monitoring inventory

• Providing materials to our internal production lines to ensure continues service

• In conjunction with warehouse supervisor oversee dock drivers daily activities.

• Responsibility to track inbound and outbound shipment information

• Completing Intercompany Transfers such as returns and materials for production

• Organizes and Logs Shipping and Receiving documents and dispositions accordingly

• Checks and Receives all Consumable deliveries and distributes them to the appropriate parties

• Performs System Transfers and Receiving Transactions

• Operate machinery as required pallet jack or forklifts.

• Performs other duties as required.

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling and crouching. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools and controls. Reasonable accommodations will be evaluated and considered to enable an individual to perform the essential job functions. Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds.

  WORK ENVIRONMENT

  Job will generally be performed in the manufacturing plant. When on the plant floor it is representative of a large, busy manufacturing operation. Noisy, active, objects on the floor, constant movement and traffic flow of motorized equipment. Hair net, beard net, assigned work uniform, protective eye wear and gloves are among the GMP required apparel that must be worn, if indicated, on the plant floor.

  EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

• AS degree preferred. Supply Chain, Business or Logistic major preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in warehousing in a similar role.

• MS system experience, SAP Required

• Excellent leadership abilities.

• Able to organize, coordinate, and complete directed activities.

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and organized

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Computer Skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook required

• Experience working in a warehouse and in an office environment

• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
