Job Description

Purpose

  • Motivated self-starter who can work in collaboration with dynamic cross-functional team to support the MES implementation and execution for API and Biologics Manufacturing.

  • Proficient in recipe authoring and data processing to support manufacturing activities.

  • Responsible for delivering MES changes and enhancements through robust recipes and data design.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into robust recipe design and perform recipe authoring in MES (e.g. POMSnet) while achieving Right First Time implementation for manufacturing use.

  • Perform data collection, transformation, labelling and optimization to support manufacturing decisions. Understand data governance and good data management practices to ensure data integrity.

  • Provides first level support for MES incidents reported from Operations Users and be able to identify risks and business impact and propose measures to manage risks.

  • Using data analysis tools (Excel, SQL and other application reporting tools) to support business in reporting needs and resolution of issues.

  • Supports the execution of crisis management plan (BCP) for MES associated activities.

  • Write system procedures, user/training documentations, protocols and other required documentation by company policies and procedures.

  • Identify and implement process improvement and optimization methods (e.g. support regulatory requirements, process improvements initiatives, etc.)

  • Oversee small projects or programs, managing timelines, resources, risks and stakeholders.

  • Works effectively with team/group to accomplish organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or Chemical Engineering

  • Ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Some process knowledge in pharmaceutical manufacturing

  • High degree of initiative and ownership and ability to work with several different departments in a fast-paced environment.
