Aon’s Centers for Innovation and Analytics are at the heart of delivering Aon’s Data & Analytic Services team’s mission to: Accelerate the rate of innovation through digital solutions to help better respond to clients’ evolving needs. Provide foundational data and analytics capabilities in one place for 50,000 Aon colleagues and our global clients who use our risk and people solutions.

Established in 2012, there are over 100 colleagues in Singapore’s Centre today including actuaries, software developers, data scientists, financial analysts and accountants. We are expanding rapidly and looking for dedicated individuals who can leverage emerging technologies and collaborate across Aon’s solution lines to help clients and colleagues make better, data-driven decisions today and tomorrow.

What the day will look like

  • Brainstorm innovative ways to bring out insights from our data to answer business problems.

  • Help define relevant measures to highlight the strength of the solutions to different stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with a team of experienced actuaries, data engineers, developers, and business experts to build Aon’s data, analytics and GenAI capabilities.

  • Build pipelines for data cleaning, and data transformation while ensuring good code quality.

  • Build statistical, machine learning and large language models to identify and deliver key data insights.

  • Design and develop production-grade analytical tools to drive innovation, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Design and develop production-grade test cases to evaluate models, focusing on accuracy, repeatability, and alignment with expected results.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. in engineering, statistics, analytics, or any other equivalent discipline with a strong statistical background.

  • Hands-on experience with data cleaning, building statistical/ML models and interpreting the results. Experience with unit/regression testing for analytics is a plus.

  • Hands-on experience working with GenAI technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Ollama, vector store, llamaindex, etc.) to build real-world applications. Knowledge about model fine-tuning is a plus.

  • Experience working in product teams with focus on designing and developing analytical capabilities.

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python, and PySpark. Knowledge of Databricks is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while adapting to dynamic requirements and priorities.

  • Fluent presentation and communication skills and ability to convey technical analyses and information in a clear and concise manner to a wide variety of stakeholders.

  • Understand and follow best practices to ensure performance and maintainability of analytical projects.

  • Quick and eager student of new technologies as and when they are needed.
