Manulife Assistant Manager, Policy Servicing. in Singapore, Singapore
Reporting to the Manager the role is a key consultant role that works closely with leadership and business partner as subject matter expert and resource for business analysis, process improvement, compliance adherence, legislation requirements, legal risks and escalated high profile cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyzing data:
Proactively analyze servicing processes to identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices.
Responsible for the review/ design of policy servicing transaction forms to address business needs
Communicating with stakeholders:
Serve as the primary point of expertise for all policy servicing matters
Be the liaison point between business and the technical teams in making sure requirements are clearly understood and translated to functional requirements by leveraging on the resources and skill set within and across work-streams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT , compliance, and customer service, to optimize policy servicing processes.
Co-ordinate , plan and manage project timelines
Communication to business users on new implementation
Developing documentation :
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Creating user stories, requirement specifications and other technical documents
Review and sign off business requirements for system enhancements/projects
Supporting and participate in product development/enhancement :
Perform user acceptance testing on system enhancements or production fixes and ensure proper follow through of issues till closure.
Provide in-depth analysis and solutions for servicing change requests, escalated issues and new initiatives to ensure efficient and accurate execution.
Support the implementation of new systems, tools, or processes by providing expertise and feedback during the planning and execution phases
Other responsibilities may include :
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of working experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in life insurance operations
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in handling projects and support for User Acceptance Test
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree from any recognized institution/university
Related insurance qualifications would be an advantage
