The Asia Pacific (APAC) Display & Optics (D&O) TPM will focus on developing novel optical technologies and partnering with external suppliers to evaluate and mature toward mass production. The role will lead technology development in partnership with internal teams (operations, quality sourcing) and external suppliers / contract manufacturers. Required Skills:
Technical Program Manager, Display & Optics APAC Responsibilities:
Partner closely with various cross-functional teams, both internally and at supplier sites to support and drive the day-to-day onsite activities to enable successful hardware builds
Publish and maintain CTB (clear to build) matrix to ensure sufficient materials to support experiment and build activities
Run the daily opening and closing meetings with suppliers, ensuring all parties are in sync during build activities
Own and maintain the MIL (major issues list), facilitate meetings to ensure engineering related issues are addressed and brought to closure in a timely manner
Conduct weekly build matrix and BOM reviews with internal and external teams
make necessary adjustments when plan of record changes
Own communications around supplier status and readiness, author and publish daily build reports during DOE / build activities
Partner with and train suppliers to optimize their reporting and internal processes
Drive escalations and actions to address build blockers related to engineering issues
Monitor production, unit allocations and build logistics during build events
Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent
5+ years of hands-on experience managing display and optics technology builds as a Program Manager at a factory, preferably in Consumer Electronics
Experience working with CM, JDM, ODM partners and component level suppliers
Experience with consumer electronics optics design and manufacturing processes (roll-to-roll, injection molding, lamination, die cutting, CNC, optical coatings)
Fluency in English and Mandarin
