The Role:

As a Senior Display Engineer, you will be leading the module development and qualification activities for innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal cross-functional team, and external partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the technical lead for display module design, development and integration into product through the entire product life cycle, from road mapping to mass-production support.

• Manage the technical relationship with external vendors to deliver new components to the required specification and schedule.

• Perform hands-on bring-up, testing and troubleshooting of and associated electronics and software related to the display.

• Lead the collaboration with the internal cross-functional teams and provide display trade-off analysis between performance, cost, manufacturing ability and schedule to leadership.

• Develop new initiatives to drive future roadmap for amazon display products.

• Travel to supplier and contract manufacturer sites world-wide to support product development activities (30-40% travel)

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, EE, and/or Materials Science

• 7+ years of experience in the consumer electronics or industry as an engineer.

• Proven ability to lead a display (EPD/LCD/OLED) technology or module development from concept to mass production.

• Demonstrated display subject matter expertise in EPD/LCD /OLED panel design, front of screen quality definition, display materials and processing, Opto-electrical testing.

• Define successful product specifications, measurements, SOPs and reports to drive product decisions.

• Excellent project managements (PMP and Six sigma training), written and verbal communication skills and people skills are required.

• Understanding of System Integration, Product Development Process, Operations in MP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the project management of technical projects

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physics, EE, and/or Materials Science.

• In-depth knowledge of OLED, LCD or other display technologies.

• Experience in developing and integrating display module into consumer electronics product.

• Working knowledge of Driver IC/TCON, display interface, display driving algorithm.
