Your role:

• Generally acting as function developer in G&B product according to the Philips product frond end development process

• In a concept stage, lead project team in developing product design, perform technical analysis, and define requirements and product specifications.

• In other words, understand system requirement and translate them into specific function.

• In a detail design stage, play a leading role to create detailed designs for product, service, manufacturing, service operations and supply chain.

• Ongoing engineering documentation to high standard; Product Specifications, dFMEA, dimension and tolerance control table updates & all AD Engineering deliverables

• Actively support team idea funnel process, identify and drive design to value innovation and seek cost-down opportunities of existing products by competitor product tear-down analysis, value engineering and idea generating activities

You're the right fit if:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering related discipline, major in mechanical engineering is preferred.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with rich product development experience.

• Excellent experience with CAD software(Creo 2.0 or others)

• Excellent knowledge in plastic material, injection tooling and cosmetic treatments.

• Familiar with Design for Six Sigma, Lean development, dFMEA, VoC-to-CTQ flowdown

• Microsoft software; PowerPoint, word, excel,

• Good skill in English, Mandarin,

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 4 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
