The role you will contribute:

Responsible for assisting the planning and coordination of multiple small and medium sized projects from initiation to implementation. Responsible for managing resources and risk to ensure optimal progress is achieved and maintained. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibilities in building and maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Lead cross-functional teams and work with Technical Services Project Managers (TSPMs), AdventHealth Information Technology (AIT) partners, vendors and contractors to manage and monitor the coordination, installation and commissioning of technology infrastructure requirements for construction projects, renovations and department relocations.

The value you will bring to the team:

  • Reports to TSPM Associate, TSPM Intermediate, TSPM Senior (TSPMs) or the Senior Manager of VTC

  • Works with TSPMs and the TSPM team to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects

  • Shares high level plans to stakeholders as well as ensure they fully understand scope and approach

  • With guidance, negotiates and influences cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the life of the project; works with team leaders for resource allocation and assignment

  • Performs project site walkthroughs to ensure infrastructure installations meet the AIT project requirements; assess AIT teams’ progress towards solutions installations; and documents site findings to report back to the TSPM.

  • Identifies and tracks key project milestones; manages to the critical path of the project schedule

  • Monitors and communicates the progress of project delivery to TSPMs as well as weekly updates; ensures timely and effective communication to TSPMs of project status in terms of cost, forecast, schedule and assessment of risk

  • Logs and tracks project risks and issues to ensure ownership is established and progress is made towards resolution/mitigation and escalates when appropriate

  • Ensures proper project change request procedures are efficiently used to maintain control of scope, schedule and budget

  • Adheres to all project management process guidelines and procedures

  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to project success

  • Contributes and participates in continual process improvement for the TSPM team

  • Participates in project go-live events as appropriate

  • Participates in project post-mortems and lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· Associate or minimum of two years of IT project experience

· MS Office Suite

· Adobe Pro

· MS Project

· Knowledge of IT project management methodologies: Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

· Excellent communication skills: oral, written, formal and informal

· Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment

· Ability to troubleshoot issues and problems, determining root causes and identify resolutions quickly

· CAD

· Revit

· Proficient with project management tool(s) such as Microsoft Project Online or Jira

Preferred Qualifications:

· 5 of experience managing projects

· Experience managing projects with a minimum of five resources assigned

· xperience managing project durations of at least 3 months

· Certified in Business Analysis -PMI

· Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

· CompTIA Project or equivalent project management certificate
