Amazon Sr. Program Manager, Seller Quality in Shanghai, China
Description
Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon’s total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s overseas marketplaces, and supporting local seller’s success and growth on Amazon. We obsess over providing world-class support to Amazon sellers and provide solutions to help our sellers better serve their customers. We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager with demonstrated experience to support implementation of global programs while minimizing variations and streamlining processes. This Sr. Program Manager will partner with Global and Local stakeholder teams to solve pain points, close gaps, and implement solutions to improve Seller Quality.
Key job responsibilities
This candidate will lead projects for cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new product, features, metric, or system change to support Asia to Worldwide Seller Quality. They gather business requirements, document functional and design specifications, identify appropriate resources needed, assemble the right project team, assign individual responsibilities, and develop milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project/program. The Sr. Program Manager will also lead solutions to solve challenges Sellers are facing across their account specifically focused on policy compliance and adherence.
This Sr. Program Manager contributes cross-functional business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, while balancing the business needs and technical constraints. They rely heavily on influence, data, and facts over authority to drive project deliverables. They should successfully navigate and influence internal policy, product, and operations teams to provide the best solution for the Seller.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
