Amazon senior program ops manager - selection, RoA PMO, AGS in Shanghai, China

Description

Amazon Global Selling is seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Selection Program Manager to lead the selection strategy and program development in Asia. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for identifying, evaluating and driving high-quality selections across various product categories and geographies. You will work in a multi-functional team contains BD and PM, and also closely with cross-functional teams, including Country Account Team, Central Product or Selection Strategy Team, and Operations, to ensure a forward-looking and outcome-based Selection Strategy being defined and well executed in Asia country teams.

Key job responsibilities

Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for selection, aligning with Amazon's overall business objectives and marketplace growth goals.

  • Define and optimize the prioritized selection criteria, processes, and tools to expedite selection optimization;

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize product categories and geographies for selection acquisition and expansion.

Selection Evaluation:

  • Establish robust evaluation frameworks and methodologies to assess selection or category potential based on factors such as product assortment, pricing strategy, fulfillment capabilities, and customer experience.

  • Analyze market trends, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions on seller selection.

Program Management and Optimization:

  • Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success of the selection program and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address bottlenecks, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Develop and implement training programs and resources to upskill and enable teams involved in the selection acquisition and onboarding process.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods industries.

  • Advanced data analysis and visualization skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
