SHIFT: Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm Job Description: Works closely with the production schedulers and managers, utilizing daily production schedule to pull and stage all required Inventory materials including paper, plates and ink per the schedule. Stage inventory paper schedule at each machine Make job plates daily Partner with supply chain to ensure have inventory utilizing Excel spreadsheets Keep manager up to date on status of job material requirements by notifying them of inventory shortages Organize inventory by weight and size and ensure pull using FIFO Cycle counts required weekly on top 5 highest volume inventory and quarterly for rest of inventory. Inspects all supplies to ensure all pieces meet customer expectations Print all supplied paperwork for customer orders and job processing (instruction sheets, pallet tags, and pick pack sheets) Completes all required production documents Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner Work overtime as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3 years of relevant experience Computer skills including email, Excel, Word Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions Forklift certified or ability to receive forklift certification Experience using an MRP / Inventory system 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing 1 plus years of experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution and/or fulfilment preferred Physical Requirements: Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time Frequent walking to other areas of the site 80% of the time Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds Ability to visually inspect all work for defects Manual dexterity for repetitive work Able to move materials across the plant using pallet jacks, forklifts, and by hand 70% of the time Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions The national pay range for this role is $18.00 - $24.00 hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
