Duties: Care for established lawns by mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, aerating, weeding, fertilizing, removing thatch, litter, and debris. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, and hedges. Follow planned landscaping designs to plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs, and apply mulch for protection. Use hand or power tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, shears, mowers, trimmers, and edgers. Provide proper upkeep of flower beds, sidewalks, and driveways & other related Landscape Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org).

Must show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 40lbs.

Transportation provided to and from job sites from designated location: 207 Maple Avenue, Selkirk, NY 12158.

Work hours: 7:00AM-5:00PM. 40 hours, Monday-Friday at $19.82-$23.00/hr. Possible weekend work. OT at $29.73-$34.50/hr (Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. If overtime is worked, wage is paid at a rate of time and a half per hour worked beyond 40 hours each week.) Employer's sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed); possible cash advances (if applicable/requested by worker, potential deduction from worker's paycheck).

Must have 3 months Landscape exp. No minimum education requirement

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

3/4s Guarantee: The worker is guaranteed employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
