ZT Group Int’l, Inc. d/b/a ZT Systems seeks Staff Product Operations Engineer in Secaucus, NJ.Duties: Interfacing with all ZT cross-functional Teams, including platform engineering, procurement, and operations, for platform/product. Reviewing design collateral for compliance with design and manufacturing capability. This includes driving for DFX (Design For Excellence) improvements on design for better manufacturability, test and service. • Providing schedule and implementation timelines for end-to-end readiness for a product, involving supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing. Providing support in facilitating critical debugging and problem solving through design, manufacturing, test and quality engineering validate and approve assembly & rework instructions, as well as ensuring top quality products are engineered & manufactured per customer specifications and timeline. Leading and driving all interactions with Customer Operations & internal cross-functional teams. Leading build and test activities of new components and projects for time-to-market and production ramp. Overseeing change management execution during NPI (New Product Introductions) and sustaining phases of programs Defining processes and assisting in development of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), NUDD (New, Unique, Different, Difficult), DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and TRI (Test Rack Inspection) activities. Cultivating new manufacturing sites for global ZT factory for system and PCBA build. Leading technical program management activities as it relates to launch products. This includes reliability, compliance, mfg. test, and BOM (Bill Of Materials) accuracy. Owning all program-related customer communication.This position Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 5 years of experience in Project Manager, Engineer or related roles.The position requires 5 years of experience in the following skills:•Server development and manufacturing process.•Rack and Server level platforms and how each component interacts with the system as a whole.•BOM (Bill of Materials) structures and configuration management concepts.•Computing or Server NPI process and procedures.•Customer Operations, Field Engineering, Development, Validation, and Production. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 5 years of experience Project Manager,Engineer or related roles, the employer will also accept a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study with 2 years of experience in Project Manager, Engineer orrelated roles.The position requires 2 years of experience in the following skills:•Server development and manufacturing process.•Rack and Server level platforms and how each component interacts with the system as a whole.•BOM (Bill of Materials) structures and configuration management concepts.•Computing or Server NPI process and procedures.•Customer Operations, Field Engineering, Development, Validation, and Production.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience40 hours per week, $134,784 - $175,000 per year.
