Amazon Sr. Marketing Operations Program Manager, Ads Marketing Operations in Seattle, Washington
Description
The Amazon Ads Marketing Operations team is looking for an experienced Operations Program Manager to streamline the way we bring diverse and powerful communication to market. As the Sr. Marketing Operations Manager, you are responsible for defining, building, optimizing, and measuring operational workflows for 100s of marketers creating 1000s of communications across channels, using work management software (Workfront). This role will navigate a highly-matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders to create streamlined and efficient processes with measurable improvement in our ways of working. As the single-threaded owner of work management and campaign operations, you will work cross functionally, engaging with Program Managers, Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Engineers, Science teams, and Tech and Business Leaders on a daily basis to optimize our processes and systems.
The ideal candidate has hands-on familiarity with martech and data visualizations tools and has experience making complex systems into simple operations. This Ops Manager will also be a key owner and communicator of the Workfront project roadmap and request intake mechanism. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, data-driven, customer-centric and technically proficient Marketing Operations Program Manager that bridges the gap between project management and program management.
Key job responsibilities
Coordinate with cross-functional marketing, product, and tech teams to define and launch workflow management mechanisms
Dive deep to report out team efficiency KPIs and translate KPIs into meaningful insights and business recommendations for stakeholders
Build self-service mechanism(s) to scale marketing strategies through communication deployment
Work with a team of professionals that develop programs and integrated campaigns, and leverage analytics and insights to determine appropriate processes, user flows, and timing for workflow refreshes.
Identify best practices for workflow processes, create ways of working and establish program standards across operations
Partner with engineering teams to solve operations problems, find user experience opportunities, test new features, and serve as a liaison for the business’s dev requests.
Communicate effectively up and down the leadership chain including reporting to senior leaders, team project planning, and working with requestors directly.
Exercise a high level of judgment to move requests through our internal workflow efficiently.
Effectively anticipate issues and proactively help generate solutions.
Test request functionality and establish reporting process for errors or inconsistencies with rigorous quality standards.
Deliver clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders to ensure ongoing clarity about strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for digital channels
Utilize Analytics and performance data to recommend and implement improvements.
Work both independently and as part of a team to manage and complete projects for multiple stakeholders typically under tight deadlines.
Proactively recommend creative solutions, enhancements, and uncover opportunities that align to business objectives within technical capabilities.

The Amazon Ads Marketing Operations (MarkOps) is responsible for driving marketing processes, management, and optimization. MarkOps is a critical step that links the Ads team’s market strategy to action through the creation and management of marketing materials that 4drive the desired outcome. Our vision for MarkOps is to create an interconnected internal infrastructure that facilitates the delivery 5of "fewer, bigger, better" campaigns
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
