Deloitte Full Stack AWS Software Development Engineer in Seattle, Washington

Work you'll do/Responsibilities
The AWS Engineer is a key technical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. Leveraging their deep understanding of AWS's suite of services, the AWS Engineer ensures that the company's cloud-based resources are secure, efficient, and meet the organization's needs.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Infrastructure Management: Set up, manage, and scale applications on AWS while ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
Design and Development: Design and build infrastructure on AWS, utilizing its service-oriented architecture. Develop scripts for automating client/server functions and to streamline operational processes in AWS.
Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security and compliance protocols for AWS environments. Ensure the cloud infrastructure aligns with the company's security standards.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support in all AWS environments and resolve any issues related to deployed AWS applications.
Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and manage costs to optimize the usage of AWS resources.
Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support the deployment of microservices and serverless applications.
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

We accelerate our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.
Qualifications
Required
5+ Years of AWS experience (incl. Cloudscape and AWS CDK, S3, Cloudwatch, Bedrock, AmazonQ, Lambda, CloudTrail, APIGateway, IAM)
5+ Years experience in Microfrontends expertise & UX pattern implementation
5+ Years experience in Backend development with a strong focus on security and Identity.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Java.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

10+ Years relevant experience in AWS technologies
Recent experience building partner or developer experience websites
Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
Excellent Written and Communication Skills
Ability to deliver technical demonstrations

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,000 to 190,000
