Given these ambitions coupled with the ever-changing and increasingly complex retail landscape, Nordstrom has established a centralized Hardware Asset Management team, that partners closely with internal stakeholders and leadership to support the business at its foundation. We are searching for a capable team member to help us to transform the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) program and deliver data-driven, value-based results.

We are hiring a Data Analyst 3 to join a key team of Technology professionals managing technical hardware asset data that delivers significant business value to Nordstrom and its customers. The Data Analyst 3 will be a critical member of the HAM team, owning the analysis, data standards, and metrics utilized to drive key business decisions across the company. This position will play a pivotal role in improving the trustworthiness of hardware asset data, utilizing a combination of manual and automated data discovery processes to baseline asset model footprints, forecast demand and optimize spend.

A day in the life…

  • Supports the HAM team on day-to-day data analysis needs

  • Develops and supports data model requirements for the hardware asset inventory system (ServiceNow)

  • Leads ad hoc analysis to shape critical business decisions in a fast-moving environment

  • Develops and supports the architectural mapping of the platforms and tooling systems that integrate with the hardware asset inventory

  • Identifies and supports the implementation of improved hardware asset lifecycle workflows and automations

  • Creates and maintains internal and user-facing dashboards in ServiceNow

  • Designs and prepares periodic ad hoc reports, PowerPoint presentations, and exploratory analysis

You own this if you have…

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related experience required.

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing complex data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, query construction, and data modeling

  • Experience and familiarity with the ServiceNow platform, including experience building reports, and utilizing Performance Analytics to showcase data changes across time

  • Comfort in presenting to business stakeholders and leadership

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $89,000 - $170,500 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
